Information

All that our face painters require when they are at your party is:

  • a little bit of space
  • a small table and two chairs (one small enough for a small bottom and one big enough for a bigger bottom)
  • a supply of water (for rinsing brushes etc.)

Adults must be present and children will remain the responsibility of the event host or organiser

All face paints used are safe, non-toxic, hypo-allergenic, EEC and FDA approved.

Although it is very rare, some people experience allergic reactions and so smaller children should be accompanied by a parent or guardian (or have consent from either) to ensure that face painting is suitable for them.

We use Grimas, Paradise, Mehron, Kryolan, Wolfe, Snazaroo and Fardel products amongst others. These products contain anti-bacterial agents and are gentle enough to use on younger skin. All products used by us comply to EEC and US safety regulations for cosmetics. The paints are water-based and will wash off with soap and water. We carefully use poly-glitter, which is specially manufactured for safe use on the face, as the pieces of glitter are cut to a smaller size and a safer shape with no sharp edges. In addition to these safe-guards, you can rest assured that our artists work to a high standard of safe and hygienic practice.

As such, we don't paint children who look as though they may have an illness or skin condition which may be contagious and we do not paint over cuts or grazes.

It is the responsibility of the guardian or parent of the child to advise us of the child's suitability to face painting. If a child has sensitive skin or is allergy-prone, it is advisable not to paint their face. In this case, a small design painted on their arm which can double as a patch test might be more appropriate.

We are covered by Public Liability Insurance but we won't be liable for any allergic reactions to face paint.

If a child is visibly uncomfortable with having their face painted, or wants us to stop painting them for any reason, we will immediately stop painting them. One last thing, although face painting is great fun for almost any age, we don't recommend face-painting for any child under the age of 3 years old.

We have a great team of professional face painters who provide face painting for all areas of London including:
